ARES Nets

Our nets are over-the-air meetings. As a group we get together to share information and conduct training. Sunday nets are Information & Training Nets and Thursday nets are reinforcement nets. Both nets are under the auspices of the ARES Emergency Coordinator. Every net needs a Net Control Station (NCS), an Alternate Net Control Station (ANCS), and a Net Logger (LOG). If someone other than the other net officials, brings training to the net, they would be recognized and logged as Trainer (TNG).

ARES Weekly Voice Nets (Thursdays not on PKARC Meeting Nights):

• Reinforces Training Topic-of-the-Week
• Assistant Emergency Coordinator Updates
• Solicits Member Feedback and Questions
